Pre-Season Heads-UP

In Western North Carolina: Accu-weather is calling for an extended colder weather by next Wednesday, with a chance for some light snow in the NC mountains. I look for the possibility for Sugar and maybe Cataloochee to get open around here.

 

Sugar Mountain: Thanksgiving Turkey Treat deal
Plan to spend your Thanksgiving at Sugar this year. For one low price, you can ski/ride any one session each of the four days of the Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-29, 2009 for just $109. Offer expires Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 5 pm. If you order before Oct. 1, 2009 at 4 pm you pay only $89. Less than $23 a day! If the ski resort is not open because of weather, you can ski/ride any four(4) non-holiday weekdays throughout the year.

Today’s Tip -

Get those skis and boards tuned-up and those bindings checked out. There’s going to be some exciting early season skiing and riding in the South very soon!

Resorts will open across the country next week - so get ready for some fun!
