Can I pick up my rentals in the city and return them at the mountain?

Rentals must be returned to the same location where they were picked up. If you pick up in Raleigh, you return in Raleigh. If you'd prefer to pick up at the mountain, our Banner Elk and Beech Mountain locations are both available for walk-in rentals.
Can I make a reservation?

Reservations are only available at our Banner Elk location. They require at least 48 hours advance notice and a $10 deposit per set. Call Banner Elk at (828) 898-9701 ext. 221 to reserve. All other locations are walk-in only.
What's included in a full rental set?

All full set packages include skis or snowboard, boots, and bindings. Poles are included with ski packages. Helmets are available as an add-on at mountain locations. Outerwear — jackets and pants — is available at Banner Elk. Jackets only at Beech Mountain.
What's the difference between the rental packages?

Our ski packages range from Shape Entry (beginner) to Advantage (intermediate) to AdPlus Demo (intermediate to advanced). Shape Entry uses shorter, shaped skis that make learning to turn easier. Advantage uses shaped performance skis for developing skiers. AdPlus Demo packages are hand-selected from our retail wall and tuned for each rental. For snowboarders, we offer standard packages plus Burton Step On packages with quick-release bindings.
What do I need to bring for a rental?

Bring shoe sizes for everyone in your party, along with a credit card for payment. If you have reservations at Banner Elk, your deposit was already taken when you called. Ability levels are helpful but not required — our staff will ask a few questions to make sure you're in the right package.
Do you offer multi-day rental rates?

Yes — the longer you rent, the better the daily rate. We offer 3-day special rates and 4+ days per-day rates at all locations. Mountain locations also offer weekday, weekend, half-day, and night rates. See each location's rate page for the full breakdown.
