The Greenville store has been outfitting Upstate South Carolina skiers and snowboarders since 1987. Whether you're heading to the North Carolina High Country, the Smokies, or out West — we have a full selection of ski and snowboard gear to get you ready.

David Collins and the Greenville team have collective decades of experience on snow. They can walk you through equipment selection, outerwear for varying conditions, help you find the right boots, or set you up with a rental package you can pick up right here before heading to the mountain.

Binding mounting

Proper DIN setting, boot compatibility check, and manufacturer-spec mounting. Mounting rates are different for gear not purchased from Alpine Ski Center.

Do I need a reservation for rentals at Greenville? +

This location does not accept rental reservations. For reservations, please contact our Banner Elk location at (828) 898-9701 ext. 221. Walk-in rentals are available during store hours.

Can you mount bindings on skis or a snowboard I bought elsewhere? +

Yes — we mount bindings on any skis or snowboard, not just ones purchased at Alpine. Bring in your equipment and boots and our staff will check compatibility, set your DIN, and mount to manufacturer spec. Mounting rates are different for gear not purchased from Alpine Ski Center.

How long does a ski or snowboard tune take? +

Turnaround time depends on the season. During peak periods we typically turn tunes around in 24–48 hours. Drop your skis or snowboard off and we'll let you know when they're ready. Call ahead during busy weekends.
